The objects of the association are:
- To bring the former students who have successfully obtained any degree from any Academic Department of Kalyani University under one forum to promote contact and communication amongst members of the Association and between the Association and the University, and other academic bodies/organizations, and to provide a forum for the members of the Association for exchange of experience, information and views;
- To assist students of the University and members of the Association in their academic pursuits and professional careers;
- To raise funds for the University, and to take up any other activity in furtherance of the objectives stated above, and to support students from economically marginal sections in the nearby villages for their education, social upliftment, and to enhance their well-being;
- To organize healthcare camps, donate medical aids, maintain clean and green environment, and perform community development related works;
- To conduct seminars, conferences, workshops, popular lectures, and to promote, help, and subsidize research work in different areas;
- To seek recognition (representation) from various agencies of state and central governments, quasi-governmental organizations, and private and other autonomous bodies, with a view to contributing to the furtherance of the objectives of the association;
- To create and establish endowments for granting scholarships and prizes to the bright students of the University;
- To promote and encourage the talents of all students of the University and its affiliated Colleges;
- To publish or cause to be published useful literature, magazines, journals, etc., at actual cost, i.e., at nil profit or loss;
- To do all such acts, deeds, matters and things as may be considered incidental or conducive to the foregoing objectives;
- To protect the legitimate interests of all members of the Association.
