The Kalyani University Alumni Association (KUAA) has been established under the West Bengal Societies Registration Act, 1961, with the objective of bringing all former students of the University of Kalyani onto a common platform. On 7th May 2025, under the chairmanship of the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. Kallol Paul, an important initiative was taken to constitute the Executive Committee of KUAA. The Committee comprises fifteen members, with Prof. Samir Kumar Mukherjee serving as the President.
The Association seeks to strengthen communication among alumni and between alumni and the University, fostering the exchange of ideas, experiences, and professional support. KUAA is committed to assisting students in their academic pursuits, supporting research, organizing seminars, lectures, and developmental programmes, and contributing to community welfare through educational, healthcare, and social outreach activities. It also endeavours to raise resources for scholarships, endowments, and initiatives that nurture talent and enhance the overall development of the University.
Through these collective efforts, KUAA aspires to uphold the values of the University of Kalyani and to build a vibrant, engaged global alumni community dedicated to academic excellence, social responsibility, and institutional growth.
